Brake Light Intermittently Goes On And Off

This morning on my way to work, my wife says that the brake light was intermittently going on and off.

She made sure that the emergency brake wasn't on, and it continued to happen. Then after about a mile or two down the road it stopped.

Anybody else ever experience something like this before? I haven't been able to find any threads on brake light problems.

Note: We do frequently use the emergency brake. Is this a problem?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that didn't I. Yeah, I checked the brake fluid level...its fine.

I'm mainly concerned if there are some known issues where using the emergency brake throws something out of wack.

PS. as you will find out, even though the fluid level is above the minimum mark, Toyota and Lexus low level fluid switches are very sensitive. Add a little fluid.
