ptd0647 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 I just get the timing belt and water pump replaced on my 99 LS400 from a local mechanic (not Lexus dealer) and now the VSC light stay on. Does any body know how to turn it off or know what the cause for VSC light to stay on? Thanks. Paul

I've found out that if you unplug pretty much anything under the hood, the VSC light comes on, even brake fluid reservoir sensor. Just double, and triple check for unplugged harnesses.

Thank you guys. I found a section in the owner manual that describe how to reset the VSC light. ←
Lexus Itch Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 my VSC was on when the battery is bad. It was hard to start too. I changed the new battery and no more problem.
