3 Month Old Directed Monitors Broken

Hi, do any of you have experience with dvd monitors in cars going bad? My directed monitor is broken after having it for about 3-4 months. The movies won't play on the screen and there are lines going across the screen. Anyone know whats up? i'm calling the dealer tomorrow to take advantage of the warranty.

The other monitor, which is used much less often, is just fine.

Sounds like the cable is unpluged for the monitor.
