2000 Rx 300 Ipod Install

I have a 2000 rx 300 and wondering if anyone has a cheap fast solution to integrate an ipod into the Stereo? or does anyone have the schematics for removing Head unit and what connections might be available to plug into. Has Anyone done this without buying the $200 dollar kits they sell. It seems pretty simple there must be a way to incorporate RCA plugs into the Factory unit. Ideas? solutions?

Hey there,

Had a similar problem and it was simply

fixed by buying a Belkin tape adapter

which you stick in to the tape drive and

connect to the I-Pod.

When it's quiet though, the tape you can

hear "playing" and it's annoying at times.

Another solution is to buy a car radio

adapter where you can just tune in for

a radio station, but I was against this

because it would mean that the power

antennae would always be up.
