Desperate To Find Indie Los Angeles Repair Shop

as i said on another post, have searched high and low...and can't find a local indie shop with lexus trained mechanics. can this be? searched internet, called shops asking for referrals, called AAA, etc. etc. am looking for an alternative to my (admittedly awesome) local dealership for certain repairs/inspections, or just to get a second opionion (which I'll gladly pay for for peace of mind). ANY recommendations/referrals will be followed up on, asap. THANKS to all who respond. !!!
