Ca: Private Sale Before Considered A Dealer

sup guys,

i have already sold two cars this year in california. a 88 mitsubishi starion and a 00 civic si.

now i need to sell my LS400.

do you know the max amount of cars a private party can sell before they are considered a dealer?

i dont want to get stiffed with large penalties.

In Illinois it is more than 4 vehicles per year but of course it varies from state to state. If no one knows here, you can call the DMV to find out or check their website. I have already bought and sold 4 cars this year so my wife is very happy these restrictions are in place! :D
