Did you ever get a reply to this? I am trying to do the same thing on a 2007 RX 350.

-------------------------------------------------

Has anyone try to use Ipod bluetooth connectors to connect Ipod to Lexus bluetooth in 2006 GS300?

I fond several bluetooth for ipod such as

If you are trying to connect your ipod to play music via the stereo bluetooth, its probably not going to happen since the Lexus bluetooth doesn't accept A2DP. Not sure which cars do though, other than the new Fords with the Sync system.

I see that this thread is over a year old. I was trying to see if there have been any updates. This would be a lot more convenient.

I agree. I am trying to get my Verizon Storm to stream music over the bluetooth in my 07 RX350 but have not been successful ashte Lexus BT apparently does not support the

A2dp . Anyone know of a workaround?

The new 10MY RX350 and 10MY Camry will support A2DP. The current systems do not support A2DP v1.3 or v1.0.

So the workaround sounds like us owners with "older" RX350s need to buy the new 2010 model. :D

Anyone know of a cheaper workaround, something aftermarket?

Add in +1 for me too. 2006 IS350. I want A2DP / not have to mess with wires.

(although I would connect an iPod/iPhone control wire if it meant I could control and charge the iPhone using the normal stereo)
