akewlguy Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 My left rear speaker does not work for x amount of time and then it does work for x amout of time. I was seeing if others have one speaker issue? Maybe its the deck? Maybe its the speaker? I have the Nakamichi and I might upgrade my speakers. Are the stock pioneer? Any advice appreciated.

Check the connectors, Maybe the amp is going.
akewlguy Posted September 6, 2005 Author Posted September 6, 2005 Is the amp in the deck or somewhere in the car?

akewlguy Posted September 6, 2005 Author Posted September 6, 2005 What are the specs of the speakers? Front 5" 2 ways? Rear 5" 2 ways? 8" sub? My next thing is getting some real speakers in my LEXUS
SKperformance Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I think it is the amp but it may also be the speaker is locking up.

akewlguy Posted September 13, 2005 Author Posted September 13, 2005 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH piece of laptop crap!!! Okay start over!!!!!!! A real speaker is something that can handle over 40watts and is less then 13 years old. On that note the current system and speakers provide great sound so I may keep them. Yesterday I ripped apart door panel and compared numerous speakers including Infinity Kapa and Pioneer two way. There were differences, but I dont know if its worth the change.
