SKperformance
A hand brake works by a mechanical linkage ( not fluid like the brake pedal)that pulls on an lever inside the brakes to activate the rear brakes for parking or incase of brake failure. A burn out is when you hold the brake pedal down and the gas pedal at the same time. You cause the driving wheels to slip which heat the tires and cause smoke. A burnout is bad for many parts of your car not just the tranny. There is no such thing as front brakes all cars have 4 wheel braking systems.
