The rear entertainment system is inoperable without the remote and Lexus wants $230 for a replacement!!!!! Biggest rip-off of all time. Does anyone know of a universal or alternate remote control solution? I simply refuse to pay the same price for a replacement remote that I can buy several DVD players (with remote). Help.

You'll be amaze to find out what kind of things you may find. My guess is that the DVD system is also on other Lexus models as well.

Help. ← I have a new remote, But it is the remote that controls the 6 disc changer in the console. Is this the one that you are looking for?
TX-Ruben Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Sorry to bump an old thread, but has anyone ever used a universal remote for the GX's DVD system? We just purchased a certified 2003 GX and the remote is on order. Going on vacation this week and need to keep the kids occupied :D
