PES300 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I think the leakage of my flex pipe is cause by the deteriation of the front engine mount and the dogbone. So I think if anyone is replacing the Y pipe because of the leaking flex pipe should also check their front engine mount and dogbone or the flex pipe will be put to excessive stress again. BTW I attempt to change both the front mount and dogbone myself. Is there any tips ? The dogbone is easy but for the mount I only know I will need a 17 mm socket and need to jack up the engine. what extension will I need ? is there a write up on doing this?
