indiasfinest Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 a while back (bout a month) i bought 2 pairs of nike shox 4 my son..(u no the ones that are "suppose" to have springs) they still dont budge when he walks and are still stiff...the other pair is 4 basketball season so i cant complain bout that...but arnt they suppose to go down...its making me mad. ..they look cool though :D
91L3xus Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 They're supposed to add resistence to the step, providing theoretical "spring". The stiffer the shoe is, the less force is carried thorugh the shoe to the ground. It's about support, not cushioning.
indiasfinest Posted August 18, 2005 Author Posted August 18, 2005 o ok that makes sense...kinda but ive seen his coaches shoes and they go down
SKperformance Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 depends on the model there are 2 types the old ones (stiff) the newer ones (less stiff) and the newest ones which are totally different
sha4000 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 ive bought my 8 year old about 4 pairs since last year and they do look cool for about 2 weeks then the bottom starts to peel off the spring from him running around ALL day
