91L3xus
When I accelerate at about 50-75% throttle, there is a ticking noise that I can hear coming from around where the pedals are. I can also hear the noise when accelerating when there are objects around (jersey walls, other cars, the garage). It usually only happens when I'm accelerating from a stop, or from a slow roll. On a happier note, I did get a better sound from my soon to be replaced air filter, by removing the air cleaner muffler- it makes a suction noise, almost like I have a turbo...whooopeee. Toysrme
Ya, the ISR is a paint in the !Removed!. What kind of ticking? Does it tick with the enigne in neutral, or only in gear. Does it tick when you turn?
91L3xus
Only ticks when the car is in either L, 2 or D. And yes it does tick when turning also. I haven't thought much of it until I started becoming a little more under-the-hood savvy. Picked up a Chilton's today, and started flipping through it. I'm sure it will help me through whatever I need to do.
Toysrme
Wierd. I'm at such a loss for narrowing it down, I think it would be bad if I just randomly listed things. (I don't like people that troubleshoot by randomly suggesting things; it's counter-productive!)
