dxt45
I'm just getting ready to put the SC300 on the road...and taking a nice 2000 mile trip, I hope this car takes regular...because I'm sick of premium prices in my other car! Is it ok to run regular in these motors?
Maximaboy1
I run it in my SC400..no knock. That "knock" problem I was talking about b4 has gone away..oddly.
SKperformance
Sell it and buy a ford if you want to be cheap with it. I get tired of seeing this question over and over every single week. You will never ever hear knocking/pinging. The car is controlled by a computer with sensors to with one purpose of each one. The knock sensors will feel the mis detonation and adjust you timing accordingly. The only time you can hear it is if there is a completly damaged motor which the computer can nolonger calibrate to run on low test gas. Do a search next time this is all over the place ,you decide but don't ask it.
