9tRaY_ES Posted July 10, 2003 Author Posted July 10, 2003 OR DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO RUN THE POWER WIRE FROM THE AMP TO THE BATTERY, I CANT SEEM TO FIND HOW TO INSTALL. PLEASE HELP HELP HELP!!!!!
steviej Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 if you type in ALL CAPS people will think you are yelling at them. Try going through the firewall with/at the steering wheel column. It takes some poking and prodding but that is where most people post that they have put wires through. Why not connect into the fuse box under the dash and use a hot wire from there? steviej
SKperformance Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 depending on the power needed for the amp running a wire in the fuse box shouldn't really be done for overload ont he 10 gauge wire in it there is a hole do a search and you should find a picture of it location it is above the brake pedal and below the brake booster to the side
bbsal Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 yes i wouldnt recommend putting any amp wire threw the fuse box.ive burnt up plenty of wires in my system days and i would never put it from the fuse box.not only could you overload but you can start a fire in the car.seen it happen already so thats why im saying it.sk is correct as allways.its right near the brake and all you have to do is poke out the rubber peice.
