LexKid630 Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 when you apply the brake, do they light up at all?? Or do they not light up AT ALL NEVER?
SKperformance Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 How long have you had the truck? Is it day or night is the stalk in auto or full headlight mode. do the brake lights or reverse or signals work? what side lights? try and add as much info when trying to resolve a problem which fuses did you check
wwest Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 There is an ECU that monitors tail and stop light bulb filament condition. It does this using a small resister in series with the plus side of the 12 volt supply. If one of these sensing resisters should fail or maybe just an ECU connection, the bulbs cannot be illuminated.

I'm having the same problem with my 99 RX after a bad trailer connection blew the tail lights and replacing the bulbs and fuse didn't help. Where is the ECU control unit located, assuming that is what is blown? Thanks, Brian
