e2vincent Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Hi Warriors: I have this strange thing happened to me last night. '93 LS400. As I drove home and park my car in the garage. I couldn't take out my Lexus key in the ignition! I tried several things: - move the transmission stick down 'L' and to 'P' again. - start the car and turn off again - drive the car aruond the block and back home, turn it off again. Finally I disconnect my battery terminal and I can pull the key out. This is interesting. What is really amazing is that the next morning when I drove to work everything is back to normal again. Has anyone had such a experience before ?? BR, V.
sha4000 Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 my key used to do that on my 91 right after i had the tranny rebuilt i had to play with the gears sometimes it was quick but sometimes it took a while this didnt happen all the time though
