odessit Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Hello, My wife's 97 ES 300 will need a set of new tires pretty soon. My research shows that Bridgestone Turanza LS-H could be a decent choice: reasonable in the snow, good handling and braking. I also have them on my 97 STS and they are definitely better then Goodyear Eagle LS the previous owner had. Given the fact that the key decision factors are: - driving in the snow - braking wet/dry - handling - comfortable ride (not critical, but sure nice to have) what would be your suggestions? All opinions would be appreciated Cheers, Alex
SW03ES Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 I also seriously conidered the Turanza LS. I would look at the LS-Vs though, thats the OEM speed rating and the tires will be smoother. I just had Michelin MXV4+ tires installed on mine and they are vastly superior to the Bridgestone Potenza and Toyo Proxeds TPT tires the car has had previously. The ride is like night and day.
chajones Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 I would try the new Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread.
