After Market Screen/dvd

I recently got a 2000 RX 300 without navigation. I originally planned on putting in a Pionner AVIC N1, but it would cost upwards of $700 to install it, on top of the 1300 I paid for it, and the people at Tweeter were not even sure they could do it and get all of the radio/air conditioning buttons to still work. So I decided to get the Magellan 700 navigation system, which is better than the AVIC N1, but I still want to be able to play DVDs.

I thought about getting a flip down screen with a built in DVD player, or head rest screens, but I want to be able to see it from the front seat. Is there any way I can put a screen somewhere where it is visible from the front seats, and maybe put the DVD player under a seat somewhere? Also, if I got a flip down screen, do those block my vision in the rear vew mirror?
