The car sounds good, but I see a few problems in your description. 1) CD Changer. The 12 disc changer has a lot of problems. You can take it apart, CAREFULLY, and clean it up. Particurlarly the pinch rollers. Sometimes that fixes it. My solution was to replace it with a 6-disc changer from a pre-1997 ES300 (cost:$150.00). It is the Only cd-changer anywhere in the world that is plug compatible with the Nakamichi system. And it will need to be mounted sideways compared to the original. I have had mine in for 4 months now and really like it. 2) Power Steering. Well, is the problem the Power steering pump or the High Pressure Power steering hose. Pray that it is the Hose. Mine was leaking. The replacement from Lexus is way over priced. I found a Hydralic Hose repair shop here in N. Texas and they repaired my hose for $50.00. I don't know about the other problems that you talk about. Try your heater. I know, this is summer, but a common problem is the Heater Control Valve assembly. If you do not get hot air, it is probably this valve. If you open the hood and stand there looking at the engine, it is a valve up on the left near the firewall. It will have two vacuum lines going into the solenoid (sp?) Any way, reverse them and if you get heat after a few minutes and with the Heater control on, then the solenoid is bad. My mechanic fixed mine using a solenoid from a Supra. He knew which one to get and had to rig it up to replace the stock one. It cost $25,00 These are a few of the common problems that you face. But if you are careful and get either used parts or have a mechanic help you get a replacement, this is a real fun car to own. If it has been mainained, you have a lot of years of driving ahead of you. I have a 1992 SC400 (Maroon) with 138,000 miles and it runs like new.
