I tried to bleed the trac system on my 91LS but nothing came out. I know that the fluid is supposed to bleed out but i got nothing. can anyone explain to me whats going on

Jack up the rear, start the engine and put it in gear. The rear wheels will spin, the Trac ecu will think they're slipping and start the Trac pumpmotor.

Does this will let me bleed the trac AND the abs systems too?

Last week, I've tried to bleed both systems (after replacing master cylinder and 2 front calipers) but nothing came out from both systems.

(It's a 1990 ls400, with 208k).

turn trac off, step on the brakes while the rear wheels are turning and the abs pumpmotor will activate.

Any updates on this ? I am trying to bleed the traction system on a 1990 LS as well and can't get any fluid to come out from the bleeder plugs when i start the engine.

More over on the 1990LS there is no bleeder valve for the traction accumulator next to the master cylinder. The manual however says that there should be.

on a newer 1993LS I noticed that the bleeder valve was present.

any ideas ?

thnx.
