pgk Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 Anyone know, the tire and wheel size combo. ie bolt pattern, offset, diameter, width. that will fit a 1990 LS400??? I want update the car with wider, and taller wheels. But would prefer what ever wheel /tire combo is used that it does not stick out beyond the wheel well. I just sold a N2O injected 540ci Ford Torino, and I'm a little spoiled by so called low end torque. WHat can be safely done to these motors to enchance low end torque?? Does anyone make a supercharger for this model and year?? Or a modified chip? Please advise.. Thanks in advance.. Pete
AWJ Posted August 4, 2003 Posted August 4, 2003 Get a torque converter first off. Try www.converter.com... Wheels? 114.5*3 bolt pattern. Roughly +45 offset should be fine but get good consultation or measure correctly - there are a couple threads here in this forum about that stuff. Then you can check out a custom turbo set-up. Enjoy.
sebastor Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 .....did you say supercharger ? !!!!!! :P you ask you shall receive http://www.lextreme.com/sc.htm ENJOY. I am shopping for rims myself as well.
