LexKid630 Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Why is it that some Lexus's headlights have a greenish hue to them? I'm not talking about the xenon bulbs, i mean the plastic/chrome itself. The gs430, rx300, rx330, and LS all seem to have this hue!! Is it only with xenon headlamps? I don't remember the gs300's having this hue. Also why DON'T the es330's have this hue? Is this color for looks??? :o
SW03ES Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Iys just for style, they've gotten away from it now.
wwest Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 If you mean the plexisglass outer covering the color "tone" is to block the UV rays generated by the HID arc. Ever see a welder with a really bad sunburn??
