New/old Lexus Lx450

Hello All, I am new to the forum and I just want to pose a quick question or two.

When I drive my LX450 I notice there is this knocking under my left feet, I swear it sounds and feels as if some is trapped underneath the truck and trying to get my attention It's the weirdest thing??? Also I was wondering how much would new shocks cost, my truck as 126K miles on it.

does the rate of knock remain the same?

does it increase/decrease as you speed up/slow down?

you can feel it knocking?

anything loose under there?

Great questions, but since I have only driven the truck home and no place else as of yet, I will to get back to you on that one. Stand by. . . And yes I can actually feel the knocking under my foot!

Hello the knocking occurs at at speeds greater than 50 MPH. I hope this helps?

I have a 1997 LX 450 and this also occurs when I am driving, so I also would like to know what it is.
