Miker Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 I was moving my frontseat up yesterday and when it got close to the steering wheel i heard a small pop sound and now it does nothing. Not even the lights in the seat belt light up. I have tried replacing the 30A fuse down under the steering column and it still does not work. Is there some other fuse that I need to replace...I do not think the engine went out since the seat belt lights went out also. It is like the seat totally lost power to everything. I am thinking there is another fuse going from that box to the seat or some type or reset switch on the seat itself. Anyone know of anything?
UCF3 Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 Try using a muilti meter and test the wires connected to the seat. If one of them is burned one, you'll have to replace the entire cable unit. See if you can isolate the problem. I can get you a cheaper price on the replacement parts.
