Took off the black round vaccum manifold near the firewall and sucked to see if there was a problem. Needs to be replaced. ejs Posted March 23, 2005 Author Share Posted March 23, 2005 Replaced the egr manifold, reset, check engine light off and problem solved. I understand this manifold where the vacuum lines attach is usually what needs to be replaced not the EGR valve itself. Huge difference in price.
