HankJ Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 My 2004 LS430 has just crossed over 110,000 miles. Had to replace both front air struts, and both side view mirrors and repair the left front damage from hitting Bambi. Other than that, I love this car, Pearl White with Saddle interior, very rare...

dcmcgo Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 1996 LS 400 - 139000, runs like a dream. I just changed the Timing Belt, Water pump, drive belt, wires and plugs. It was the first time for each of those things to be changed. Changed the ball joints at about 90,000. Other than that it still runs great, looking forward to another 139K. The best car I have ever owned. Danny

Warhawk Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I am still driving my 1987 Honda Accord with 634,000 plus miles. The engine runs great and has never been opened. Repairs include timing belts, water pumps, altenators and suspension parts. The rotors are still original. My bigest problem is how to get rid of the car. I would like somthing newer. Honda is not yet interested in doing a commercial. It is hard to get rid of such a loyal car. A man I work with had an '88 Accord (4 cyl/5 spd) that he bought new and put 539K miles on. Last year his wife shamed him into getting a new car, and he bought a new '06 Accord (also a 4 cyl/5 spd). He told me earlier this week that the '06 isn't as solid a car as the '88 was.
GKLCPA Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 I feel like a little baby here. I've got 73,000 miles on my 1996, but it's good to know that I'm good for at least another 200K. 275k and running but from the condition of the car i May reach 300k's...

theoldpaths Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 1990 LS400 199,797 Runs and feels like it has only 19,787
aldenjl Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 I gave my 1st lexus, a 92 LS400 to my Mother in Law with 110K mi. on it and I purchased an '01 LS 430 Ultra. Here is the latest update on both. '92 LS400 - 235K mi. '01 LS430 - 135K mi. The '92 has only needed a rear main seal and the '01 has not needed any major service... other than 3 windshields in 12 months due to rock chips!! Neither of us have plans to part with them any time soon!!!
