'97 with 91xxx miles. Hopefully I'm in for a hundred thousand more!

I'm a little skeptical, though. "Trouble free" miles does not mean maintenance free miles. There will be thousands of dollars of repairs to get to 200k miles, but that would be with any car!

Mines (or should I say moms now) still low mileage... only up to 217K on my 1991. :D

Due for some things though....

motor mounts

transmission mount

valve cover gasket(s) - only passenger side is leaking now - seems to be common

power steering pump leaks

LCD out

Thats all I can think of.

1996 ls400... 260,000 miles... still running strong... just some engine oil leaks (gonna get it fixed soon), lcd backlight on radio out (gonna attempt to fix myself), and the usual airbag suspension problems (the only annoying thing about this car).

93 LS400 349000K

Miles or Kilometers? Wow either way though. My 93 only has 179K. BTW do the miles still record when the gauge cluster back lights are not on because I have had 179K on my car for 4months and I don't drive much, but I do a lot more than 6.25 miles a week. If I did my gas milage would be about 4.6 mpg. I do however notice the miles get recorded just fine when the back lighting is on.

I have a LS400 92 with 407,000km on it. She still runs tight, no oil burn and quieter than my wifes 3 year old Honda. Car needs a few parts every year but I do most of my own work so she still stays on the road under $500.00 Per year.

Blake (username blake918) had a 95 LS4 with 318,000 miles (or something like that) when he sold it. Still ran like a dream. I drove it on a few occasions, GREAT car.

165,000 miles on my 97 LS400. I just replaced a $3500 transmission on it about 20k miles ago too. And it blew a head gasket, that was another $1500. But it is running really well.

In my autoshop class, My 1991 LS400 has 270,000 Miles and runs like a dream!

The only problem with the car is the PS leak, and the trunk release button.Other than that everything like the LCD works, LED works, Fuel guage.. Ect.

250,000 miles on my '98 LS 400. Has only had reg. gas since 80k. 27 mpg on hwy. Maint performed at factory intervals. Timing belt, tranny, coolant, etc. Valvoline synthetic every 7500 miles ( I only drive on highways). Only now needs first non-scheduled fix: Rear upper control arm. The bushing is squeaking.

Great car.

now at 202,000 totally missed the turn at 199,999 stupid cell phones!

loved that. I remember I once had a car that was going to turn over to 100,000 (back in the old days). I waited patiently as it approached and then totally missed it for no good reason. You gave me a good laugh remembering that. My 90 LS400 has 175,000 miles and I drive it to work every day.

67xxx on my 03 ES

96xxx on my Dad's 05 Pontiac Montana SV6

102xxx on my Mom's 02 LeSabre

Man I'm just getting started!

There is a Camry at a local Toyota dealer that has a big sign on the side saying it has 450k miles, not sure what year but I'm guessing in the '96 range.
