Silverstreak Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 I just had the 5000 mile service done on my 2004 LS430. My private mechanic did it and rotated the tires. Ever since, after driving about 50 miles, the tire pressure warning light goes on. I reset it and after 50 miles it goes on again. DId my mechanic do something or fail to do something that is causing this?

I would think the owners manual will tell you how to reset......
cruznroadking Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 If the tires are rotated I believe that the tires need to be reregisterd with a scan tool. Call & ask the dealer.
RoadKingLS Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Same thing happened to me. It in the owner's manual. When the tires are rotated, the TPM system needs to be re-initialized. Under the dash, just above the accelerator is a small panel with 2 switches on it. The top one is for the TPM reset. Push that button and hold it until the msg "Initializing" shows on the left side of the dash. After that msg appears you should be good to go.
