Bypassing The Firewall

Recommended Posts

I am attempting to install a new custom horn (with sound effects  ) in my 1996 Lexus ES300. I have all of the wiring figured out, but I need to know where to insert them in the firewall so I don't have to drill through it. I wish to install it on the upper right side of my car (under the hood, looking at it from the front). I will run the wires to the battery and to the passenger side through the firewall so I can have the controls come out of the passenger area and set up next to the factory radio. If anyone knows how this can be accomplished without paying for it at the dealership, please let me know! If possible a diagram will help, but any help is appreciated!!

Ciao,

MurF

I think you better invest in a right-angle drill..unless you can find a rubber groummet to go thru...if your car is like my 92 ES..ain't no other way..
