Good Evening felas, I have recently developed dilemma here, and need your input.

I have a problem with my fuel gauge, It would only register EMPTY no matter how much fuel I have in my tank, this has been going on for a few days.

NOW... I know its heard of to happen in the 90-94 LS's, but has anyone noticed this on a 98+?

So anyhow, I searched around online and found out its going to cost me around $250 to repair my current cluster. However, after doing some local searching, I found a complete cluster from '98 and a '00 cluster for about the same price as the repair. (Better choice if you ask me)

Now heres my question, If I remember correctly, they *fixed* the boards in (1999 or 2000) in relevance to the "Miles since Refuel" issue. So I would rather get a newer one with the updated circuit board while I’m at it. (hopefully less scraches too)

So do you guys know if it will bolt straight up to my 98?

(btw, Anyone have a diagram, or removal instructions by any chance for the 95+ Cluster??)

Thanks guys!

Your da man!! It could very well be the sender Unit, because it started going crazy before it died completely. I still need instructiosn on how to remove the cluster from the dash please.

GREAT manual, where can I buy one of these?!

I need to find out how much this sender unit is going to cost me.

Thanks again.
