advorak Posted February 24, 2005 Share Posted February 24, 2005 Hi, Everyone, Yesterday when I started up my 2001 RX300 to go home from work, both the Check Engine light and the VSC light came on and have now stayed on. Neither was on before or had ever been on in the past. Does anyone have any experience with what this may be indicative of, or perhaps venture a guess as to what problem may be firing both of these lights in tandum? cruznroadking Posted February 25, 2005 Share Posted February 25, 2005 On most 1st generation RX's when the check engine light comes on it will shut off the vehicle skid control, hence the vsc light coming on. Most common issue when check engine light comes on is on 02 sensor. I believe they are covered for 6 years 70,000 miles. Double check the owners manual.
