atoyoT Posted February 21, 2005 Share Posted February 21, 2005 I've searched but as of yet haven't found anyone who has had to replace their trunk lid lift struts. My trunk lid is way heavy, afraid the lady of the house will freak if she ever has to use it, could wack her in the head. Could buy the struts I imagine with what a trip to minor emergency might run. For some unknown reason my hood struts are fine. I know the dealer sticks it to ya on the hood struts and figure the trunk struts are just the same. Anyone found a aftermarket source for them? I know a few years ago I ended up going to the dealer for the hood struts on my 90 LS and at $70 or so a pop it was not a pleasant experience.
