is there an adjustment on the shifter mechanism that tells the car when it's in park so it will start. lately on my 95 es, when I try to start it just clicks, but when I jiggle the shifter it starts right up. is there a cable or something to adjust or what?

thanks

odd ?

If the *BLEEP*er lock out is engaged then it shouldn't even click.

It should do nothing.

that's what I thought. but could it be barely disengaging the switch? what else could it be? the starter? I just put on new terminals

Might be the starter.

Or your battery .

I got censored ???

i don't even know what the bleep up their is for?

is the starter easy to change? It looked like it was right near the top and easy to access? I did notice that one of the caps on my battery where the water goes was off when I changed terminals. but when it does turn over it turns real fast.
