MingF
Hi... I have a 2002 ES300, with the Mark Levinson's stereo system with seven speakers. The sound system is really good....but I noticed that the back speaker that is by the headrests by the back window does not produce much noise at all. I can feel the speaker vibrating a little bit...but not as much as the other 6 speakers on the doors. I talked to the dealer and they say it's a WOOFER? what's a woofer? Is there a difference from a sub-woofer and a woofer? Don't know if it applies only to the ES300 equiped with the Mark Levinson's system or on the Lexus Premium systems too. Does anyone know? Has anyone notice their back speaker doing the same thing as mine? Please reply back. Thanks
SKperformance
It is supposed to make low frequencies which are felt more than heard it reproduces bass a subwoofer and woofer for non technical terms are the same

It usually adds about an octave below the rolloff frequency of the woofer.
