AWJ Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Never seen that... just took mine apart tonight... not so hard.. It is possible this little check valve at the bottom is not working correctly. It controls the fluid assist by a vacuum controled valve. Anyways, it could be not working correctly or there is also an oring at the compression fitten there for that high pressure line that the check valve feeds. There is also an o-ring at the rez can bottom. Those could be replaced if you take it apart yourself and get new ones. Otherwise the gasket of the pump body is bad (possible but unlikely). There is then the seal at the pulley shaft. Best exhange it by core at one of these car parts websites then. I may have an extra good pump. I need to test it. It will need a pulley if I get rid of it. But if it's good, I'll let if go for a fair price.
