Does anyone know when the timing belt on the 99 RX300 is due?

Do a search, this topic is discussed many times.

Lexus recommends 90K. Our engine is non-interfering, it is up to you to spend $1000 for peace of mind but probably replace a belt that still have lots of life left.

The RX300 timing belt is well-engineered and thicker than the average timing belt. Although the recommended change interval is 90,000 miles, 99% of the original belts are good for 120,000 miles and beyond. Unfortunately there's no way to check your belt's condition without physically getting to it and looking at it. The term "non-interfering" basically means that you shouldn't suffer engine or valve damage if your timing belt breaks during operation, so you can continue to run the original belt without risking further damage and expense. Good luck.

by the way I talked a toyota dealer into changing mine at considerable savings and would also recommend changing the water pump which is driven by the timing belt. My water pump had a hint of bearing noise at 98k miles so I was happy with my decision. By the way Toyota charged me $495 for both and using a Lexus timing belt. good luck

Are you folks sure that this engine is a non-interference type? Just as a reference, where did you go to find that out?

Yes the engine is non-interference. Almost all Toyota engines which are belt driven rather than chain driven are non-interference. The link in the post above shows this.
