RV1000 Posted January 24, 2005 Share Posted January 24, 2005 I just purchased a 1993 400 SC automatic with 111K - I am new to Lexus but have owned several Porsche cars. I have a couple of questions. 1) Is there any information or KEY to the VIN codes ie Options. Unit number date of manufacture on the site? 2) Its an automatic - I have a problem with the the gear shifter it is locked into Park and I have to use the key release on the shifter housing to disengage. arnie1 Posted January 24, 2005 Share Posted January 24, 2005 Try putting your foot on the brake pedal before trying to shift out of park.
