rcrdc
Does anyone know a reasonable way to repair a cracked center console a/c vent/glove box assembly? I was told this is a common problem, at least in Texas. I was also told it is very expensive to replace the unit. A simple stick on fascia would work.... Does anyone have any experience with this, or suggestions?

LLS
seen this? ← AWJ, great link! :) I imagine in Texas that would be a big problem. The register cracks from heating and cooling. When the car is started @ 120 degree's interior temp, and the vents cool to 50 degree's within seconds it'll crack them every time. A lto of people have fiberglassed them from behind, some have used metal mesh back there and epoxy. Whatever you do, it'll need to be reinforced or it'll do it again soon.
