lexus082 Posted January 13, 2005 Share Posted January 13, 2005 My fuel gauge is off and when I top off at the gas station it only reaches a little higher than 3/4 tank. I was referred to the soarer site to remove and clean the fuel gauge sender unit, but my sender unit does'nt look anything like what they have pictured. I am pretty sure its not a faulty needle because this is the second gauge cluster I have tried. Someone also said that the unit had to be recalibrated is that something I can do myself or do I just need to get a new fuel gauge sender? Any advice would be great.
