jerryrigginson Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 is it pretty much a must to have a lift to change the rack? just wondering because i was at the alt and ps pump i figured the rack could go too.

jzz30 Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 yea the rack is failry accessable i think the hardest part will be getting the spline shaft from the steering off, and on, either that or getting the ball joints off the steering knuckles. good luck!
jerryrigginson Posted January 4, 2005 Author Posted January 4, 2005 well since everything leaks and the car sometimes for no reason kinda pulls to the right but not always is why i wanted to change the rack. Maybe i dont need to and it will definately be the worst part of the job.
