Has Anyone Seen Or Tried These?

I just saw one of these for the ES250 on ebay. Has anyone ever used this same product, or does anyone have an opinion about it?

Here is a link to the description. I bought this one for my mom for xmas but it hasnt come yet.(Ohh well.)

I wonder if it will hurt the car at all.

Appreciate your opinions.

yeah they are a total waste. i think the only gain i ever saw was about 2HP at the wheels on a contour, to say nothing of a lexus that probably has more drivetrain loss.

to answer your question, no, i wouldnt think it would damage anythig. it couldnt hurt to try it.

The resistor just goes in the circuit from the IAT sensor. I don't think it's going to do any real damage. Might notice a difference more in the summer though.

you get what you paid for.. an eBay seller with a private feedback listing obviously has something to hide about himself and his items. get a hundred people to buy this $7 item shipped and thats a pretty nice drop of change in his pocket for somthing others agree as "garbage." my 2c.

I would not try it

that resistor changes the the fuel to air ratio that your engine runs at. you are tricking you computer to think you need a different air fuel ratio which could damage you engine.

you got ripped on a 1 cent resistor forget about it
