haiku Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Alohaaaa! Great site, very informative. I'm a new owener of a 92' SC 400 with 88K miles. It's for my wife's daily driver and she love this car. She has good taste. Two questions: My overdive button is stuck into the shifter and won't pop out. The A/C control lens is blacking out and can't see display. Any help will be most appreciated. Anyone here from the Aloha State?
lexus082 Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 To correct the problem with the climate control screen you will need to replace the screen there are two parts to the climate control unit. The front part being the screen is all you have to replace. The screen is $440.00 at lexuspros.com.
jzz30 Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 on the rock too... about your shifter, you can take it off by taking off the phillips screw that faces the center console and maybe push the button out from the inside?
Bandit Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 Shifter problem! Below the leather there is a plastic sleeve, slide this down to expose the philips head screw. Remove this and the shifter handle will slide up and off. You should then be able to see what is causing the problem. Cheers! Bandit
