Any help somone can give me with a suggestion where I can find a fair deal on a new meter or even a used one will be greatly appreciated.

Mine is giving me code for it and the check engine light is on and the traction control light is on, car is running perfect other than the lights.

Do a search on Mass Air Flow Sensor and you can find instruction on how to clean it in the RX300 section.

Try cleaning it first like OCNLVR suggested above. If cleaning it doesn't help then you could try Tap Recycling or Ebay for a used unit : http://taprecycling.com/

What is the exact code that you are getting?

good luck cleaning it. its pretty much useless to try. its totally different from the rx maf.

Oh, no hotwires. It's the same as an LS.
