NX 350h HUD directions on android auto

Hi, I have a NX 350h 2022 f-sport.

I noticed that when using on the original Lexus navigation system, I get the navigation directions (e.g.: turn left on 200m) on the heads-up display (HUD).

But when connected to waze or google maps through android auto the directions only appear on the car dash/panel but not on the heads-up display, did anyone had a similar issue and was able to make those directions appear on the HUD?
