Drain and fill transmission oil question

so, followed the procedure to the T right, on my car 2011 lexus es350 I had a exactly 51oz or about 1.5qt come out, I put 2qt in the transmission 640z, once I did the procedure and waited for the correct temp and all, what came out before it started trickling was about 8-9oz so about 1/4qt which means that there is about 1/4 or 8-9oz more in the transmission then what came out originally, should I be worried? or is it fine?

2 quarts is normal, Did you ever think the fluid was low before you drained ? 2 quarts in is perfect.

Hi thanx for the response, well I had o reason to believe it was low since it shifted fine and quite frankly  dont think it was ever touched. so in your opinion my roughly 1.75qt is fine right?

I just picked up a beautiful '01 RX-300. Would its transmission also need 2 quarts for drain and fill? Any brand in particular for the refill?

Hey Phil, Where in Sconi are you ? I am pretty sure the 2 quart drop and fill is pretty standard.
