Has anyone noticed a soothing  wind-like (white noise)  coming from the back of their RX450H+

I can hear this while the car is on (battery mode) ,windows closed and stationary.

I cant seem to locate the origin of the sound ,it appears to be coming from the two rear speakers...

perhaps a road noise cancelation feature ?

Anxious to hear similar observations  and  thoughts   🙂

Could it be cooling fans for the hybrid battery? In our RX400h, those fans are somewhere under the rear seat. That's why we never leave anything on the floor in front of that rear seat.

Will listen more carefully in the back seat area . You may just be correct.

On many newer Toyota hybrids, the traction battery is under the rear seat that has a fan for cooling. There is a filter on each side that is supposed to be checked/cleaned/replaced periodically.

If you are referring to a 23 or newer RX 500 H I believe the noise you are hearing is the ventilation fan inside the seat. Make sure that your cooling seat is turned off and then see if you can hear it chances are you will not this is the fan inside the seat it does sound as if it’s coming from the rear, but it’s coming from the top of the back of the seat directly behind your ears
