Hi all,

New here to Lexus, having owned a number of EVs and PHEVs (Volts) through the last 10 years and considering getting a NX450h+ to eliminate the stress of finding DCFC when on road trips. I've read that the 2025s came out in May 2024 and am willing to wait until May 2025 to order a 2026. Recently we've ordered our EVs online and designated the dealership (e.g., Mach-e) for processing the order. So how does this process work with Lexus? And thanks in advance for your help.

Watch out for dealers trying to add thousands to the MSRP.  I found quite a few that did and quite a few that did not.

And unless they have one sitting on the lot for a while they generally don't want to transfer the cars between dealers.

You just need to find a good dealer.

I bought a 2024 450h+ in June 2023 and found it by looking at the Lexus site every day for what I wanted.  When I called that dealer they didn't even know it was in their queue so was able to grab it.

Looks like they are catching up on inventory now so things may not be as tight as they were 1.5 years ago.  And I love this car -- so easy to drive since it is drive-by-wire.

Thanks. It's unfortunate that some dealers are still playing these games of ADMs and unwanted dealer add-ons. Good idea about shopping around for a good dealer though.

We're on the central coast of CA and the only Lexus dealer is in Santa Barbara 95 mi away so may have to expand my search to SoCal where there are more Lexus dealers.

Does anyone have recommendation for dealers in SoCal?
