1991 LS 400 Power steering solenoid on rack not working.

  I have a 1991 LS 400 that does have some power steering assistance but the solenoid on the rack is not engaging so it is always a bit hard to steer when going slow.  I performed an ohm test it is within specification, I put 12 volts to the connectors pins 1, and 2 and there is no solenoid clicking.  Has anyone found a source for this part?  I have tried Amazon and Ebay but the only ones I can find are being sold with the entire power steering rack.  My rack is fine no leaks or binding, so I really only want the solenoid.  If there is no source for the solenoid has anyone repaired, or beat into submission one of these power steering solenoids?
