AV Tech Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Happy new owner of 2025 NX350H Atomic Silver paint, premium package less than 2 weeks after delivery i noticed a couple of very light scratches in the Chome trim surrounding the small fixed rear passenger window panel. the scratch is very light, will not catch a gently rubbed fingernail across it, and appears to be limited to the top finish coat on the chrome piece, Dealer service would be happy to charge me $180 for the replacement part and then refer me to a "glass shop" for installation. In leiu of going down that path i'm curious if thre might be a diy option i could try first. this feels like it would likely be remedied by scratch filler / and surface coat of some type In the past, i have had pretty good results with nu finish scratch repair and polish on my 2009 and 2015 Toyota products. looking for recommendations on this fix as well as some thoughts on adding coat of ceramic or polymer on top to provide a lil extra protection going into winter.
